Flag Raising begins at 3:30 p.m. in the Alexandria City park adjacent to the Boat Club located at the foot of historic King Street in Old Town Alexandria. This flag raising marks the official beginning of the boating season.
The Alexandria Harmonizers will join us again this year and sing a medley of patriotic tunes.
Typically the event lasts about one-half hour. An informal reception will follow at the Boat Club for Club Members and invited guests.
