Alexandria Celebrates George Washington's 290th Birthday!
The Annual George Washington Parade will take place this Monday, February 20th. The parade starts at 1:00 pm sharp. This year the parade route has changed as a result of the 100 year anniversary of the Masonic Temple and a rededication of their cornerstone.
The ODBC parade float will be located at the corner of Payne and Pendleton and those marching should be on site no later than 12:45 pm. Here is a link to the parade route: https://washingtonbirthday.com/2023route. (Scroll all the way down the page.) ODBC members and guests who march in the parade are invited back to the Club for food & refreshments afterwards.
Please bring the children as they love parades. (It's President's Day, so most kids have a school holiday). So please come out and support the club … we really need a good number of marchers to show that the club is fully engaged.
