For over 20 years, members of the Old Dominion Boat Club have celebrated the birth date of the Marine Corps with a traditional birthday celebration in brotherhood with similar observances by Marines worldwide. This year we celebrate 248 years of faithful service by the Marine Corps to our great country. All who support the Corps are invited to participate in a traditional Cake Cutting ceremony. An open bar with buffet items begins at 6 PM on November 10th in the Ballroom at the ODBC. The ceremony begins at 7 PM. Anyone who wishes to help continue the tradition and/or financially support the annual celebration is asked to contact Bobby Kidd at bob.kidd@verizon.net.
