Welcome to ODBC Celebration of America 250!
Saturday, July 11 | 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM The America 250 Celebration will be a fun, family-friendly waterfront cookout and club celebration recognizing America's 250th Anniversary. The event will feature games for children and adults, a scavenger hunt, a boat decorating contest, patriotic décor, food and beverages, and social activities. George and Martha Washington, and Betsy Ross will make an appearance on this day as well, so make sure to get your picture taken! A FREE, FESTIVE, family event to welcome member, families, and friends to participation while celebrating America's founding. The event will culminate with Alexandria’s fireworks display over the river.

A "Around Old Town" Scavenger Trivia Hunt For those who wish to participate, registration and route will open at 3PM to allow enough time to complete. Please allow 60-90min to complete the scavenger hunt. You will come to the club to register and start the scavenger hunt. Boat Decorating Contest All boaters have been asked to participate in this event and we look forward seeing all the boats in their “red, white, and blue”! Actual voting will take place during our 250 Celebration event! Event attendees are asked to stroll over to the docks beginning 4PM, to look at all the decorated boats and cast their votes for “Best Spirit of America” and “Most Creative” Calling on all boaters; show off your patriotic spirit and help make the docks festive, colorful, and fun. To enter the contest, decorate your boat anytime between July 4th and July 11th and register your boat here: ODBC's Red, White & Blue Boat Decorating Contest.
